The center's primary business is to provide quality and effective programs that produce a labor efficient workforce that meets the ever-changing needs of the community. The center's objectives are:
  • Provide innovative and effective services to job seekers and employers
  • Provide ongoing services that allow us to fully meet the needs of our customers
  • Provide exemplary service to our county and its employers
  • To continue to seek new collaborative efforts with other agencies in order to provide the broadest continuum of services to job seekers and employers.
  • To continue to respect the values of tradition and experience inherent in our community.
  • To maintain a positive work environment

To provide quality services to all customers through the collaborative efforts of the partner agencies to develop an effective workforce system for Alleghany County.

To provide quality and effective services to our customers through a range of programs designed to meet the ever-changing workforce needs of the community.

Hours of Operation:
Monday: 8:00am-5:00pm
Tuesday: closed
Wednesday: 8:00am-5:00pm
Thursday: 9:00am-4:00pm
Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm

Every day, the Alleghany JobLink is closed for lunch from 12noon to 1pm.
